Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma said Thursday the DFA has yet to receive any information from the Philippine Embassy in Malaysia on actions taken to help the distressed OFWs.
Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia Ed Malaya, Coloma said, will be made to report on the status of OFWs, including the alleged abuse of Filipina workers by authorities there.

Information has also reached Coloma that even legal migrant workers are included in the crackdown.OFW POEA Work Abroad Echague Isabela

"We cannot tolerate violation of basic human rights that would be perpetrated upon our own citizens," Coloma stressed. -- Report from Junry Hidalgo, DZMM Radyo Patrol 31Source: abs-cbnnews.com
